Influence of Interpersonal Communication Skills Indonesian Teachers and Emotional Intelligence
with Student Achievement in MI Al - Istiqamah Banjarbaru. The purpose of this
study is 1) Determine the influence of interpersonal communication ability of teachers to the achievement
of Indonesian students studying Education MI Al - Istiqamah Banjarbaru; 2) Determine the
influence of emotional intelligence education students’ learning achievement Indonesian students
of Al - Istiqamah Banjarbaru MI; 3) Determine the influence of teachers ‘interpersonal communication
skills and emotional intelligence of students’ learning achievement Indonesian Education students
MI Al - Istiqamah Banjarbaru. This study used a quantitative descriptive design to answer
the questions above. The results showed that the interpersonal communication skills of teachers MI
Al - Istiqamah Banjarbaru enough in the category. Average teacher interpersonal communication
skills MI Al - Istiqamah Banjarbaru at 48.22 ( interval 41.8 to 53.2 ) and most of the pretty category
(42.00 %). The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained positive regression coefficient
(0.216) and 2.966 with a significance of t = 0.004. Value of t (2.966) > t table (1.988) so that the first
hypothesis” interpersonal communication skills of teachers has a positive effect on learning achievement
Indonesian Education in MI Al - Istiqamah Banjarbaru” submitted acceptable.The results
showed that students’ emotional intelligence MI Al - Istiqamah Banjarbaru enough in the category.
Average emotional intelligence MI Al - Istiqamah Banjarbaru at 154.56 (interval 132.2 to 156.8).
The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained positive regression coefficient ( 0.216 )
and 4.878 with a significance of t = 0.000. Value of t (4.878) > t table (1.988) so that the second
hypothesis “Emotional intelligence has positive influence on students’ learning achievement Indonesian
Education in MI Al - Istiqamah Banjarbaru” submitted acceptable.The results showed that
teachers’ interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence and learning achievement
in the category of Education Indonesian pretty well. The results of multiple linear regression analysis
obtained value of F = 31.901 with a significance of 0.000. Value of F ( 31.901 ) > F ( 3,143 ) so
that the third hypothesis “ interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence of teachers
positively influence students’ learning achievement Indonesian Education in MI Al - Istiqamah
Banjarbaru “ submitted acceptable.
